This adapter is a bit special, it uses USB 3.0 to access a 28pin nVME SSD disk, it only works with SSDs from the 2016 Macbook PRO, then you have another so it doesn't work.
The SSD module uses a USB3.0 port so you can get your data out of a corrupted 2016 Macbook Pro.

1. Allows the user to use nVME SSD from the 2016 Macbook PRO in USB3.0 port on PC or laptop.
2. Only mount SSD modules from the following Apple PC: 2016 Year MACBOOK PRO or IMAC.
Also works with these nVME SSD modules:
Samsung MZ-KPV1TOT, MZ-KKW5120, MZ-KKW1T00, MZ-KKW2T00
4. Small heat sink to keep SSD at an ok temperature so it can work stable.
5. It works with Windows'PCs and linux one you need to be aware that most Mac disks from a Macbook Pro are formatted in one of Apple's formats like Windows and Linux PCs can't read.
