If you buy a semi-original display, it means that the glass front and frame around the screen are copies. But both LCD, flex and digitizer are original. So you get a screen where the essential electronic parts are original and don't worry about you display going to look different than if you buy a new original display. A frame and glass front, which is copy, just means that the item is a little cheaper for you as a consumer.
