Most phones use micro usb for charging and syncing with your Windows PC and Mac. It's actually a requirement from the EU that all phones should use that plug, how it's gotten around it we don't know. Samsung, LG, HTC, Huawei, Honor, Acer, Sony, Nexus etc all use the most Micro USB cables and connectors.
However, you have to be aware of your own mobile, as some new models take advantage of USB-C cables, of which we also have a small assortment. 

The cable is reinforced especially at the end you plug into your smartphone, this is where it is most exposed when you pull the cable out of your smartphone, into the cable instead of grabbing the plug. 

The cable is also reinforced in the USB 2.0 end but it's not very interesting because it's pretty much all USB cables you can buy, that's why the connector never makes in pieces pretty much.

A cable of two meters, allows you to just get a little further with the charge. For example, if you use your mobile on the sofa in the living room or in your bed, it is very nice to have an extra meter so that you do not get to tear too much into it.
