School start with a Mac computer has never been easier. Mac can open the same files as any other PCs and they can use the same wifi, muse, keyboards, monitors, etc.
Mac's also prints on the same printers and can scan from the same scanners.
The only thing missing from your school bag is a pair of adapters that make it a little easier to be a mac user.
Starting school is something many do with an iPad, here you get some more problems, as iPad's are often not integrated at all in schools.
