Macbook Pro 13" Unibody DVD Drive

THE PROFESSIONAL LAPTOP
We have adapters and equipment that support all MacBook Pro models. This model of macbook pro is still popular, and even if it doesn't have a Retina display incorporated, it can still be purchased from Apple's official website. All MacBook Pro 13" has either Mini DisplayPort or Thunderbolt port. This makes it very easy to choose cable and adapter, as Thunderbolt and Mini DisplayPort are similar and use the same video adapters. Your MacBook Pro 13" comes with only a single Thunderbolt/Mini DisplayPort connector and you can see what it looks like in our Video Port Guide here

Mackabler also has a lot of other accessories for macbook pro 13" - including MagSafe chargers, SD card discs so you can get 64GB more space, SSD holders to swap out the DVD drive with an extra hard drive for more space and a faster MacBook Pro. Of course, we also have all the adapters you might need in your daily use of your MacBook Pro 13".

Note that the 2009 MacBook Pro does not support audio and video through the Mini DisplayPort. The rest of the MacBook Pro 13"s support both audio and image through the same connector, both Thunderbolt and Mini DisplayPort ports. We have gradually heard a few times that Mini DisplayPort adapters and cables do not support sound- this is not correct. In fact, it is a little misleading, because there are no Thunderbolt video adapters at all; Thunderbolt is supposed to be used only for data connections, and the built-in Mini DisplayPort connection should be used for video and audio.
