We know we can't convince you that Qi charging will change your life, but we'll try anyway.

Normally, if you charge your iPhone every night, every working day or at some other fixed time, the iPhone is idle and cannot be used at the same time. Whether you use 5W charging or 27W charging, it doesn't change. This is what Qi charging changes, radically, because with Qi charging you turn to never running out of power on your iPhone, every time you sit down at your Mac, or every time you come to work, you just leave your iPhone on its normal place, and then it charges a little at a time, just 10-20 minutes until you need to use it again and then 10-20 minutes again. That way, you'll trickle-charge your iPhone enough that you'll never have to think about it again.

Wireless charging with Qi for iPhone works fine through covers, but not through covers made of e.g. metal, which is magnetic, especially magnetic covers must be made for Qi charging before they work with a wireless charger like this. Qi charging works fine through all kinds of plastic and aluminum.

It is not the same as a cable, because with a cable you have to plug it in and when you need to use it again you have to take it out. It is difficult and it means that you think about it.

This charger is nice and simple, and that might not say much, but when you look at the many other types out there, it says a lot. Most have several different materials, transparent parts, large LED lights that shine so you can see them from the next room.

This one doesn't make a big deal out of itself and it just works. This LED bulb does not light up very much and it does not light up at all when your iPhone is not charging. This means that you can use it so that you are sure that your iPhone is in the right place, but you can also sleep in the same room as the Qi charger both while it is charging and not.

Qi charging comes to the iPhone in 2 variants, the normal one that gives 5W and the fast one that gives 7.5W - this is the fast one that gives 7.5W if you have updated your iPhone to iOS 10.2 or above.
